An extensive network of standardized and integrated atmosphere, ecosystem and ocean monitoring stations forms the ICOS Research Infrastructure.
The atmosphere network consists of more than 50 atmospheric tall towers measuring greenhouse gas concentrations.
The Ecosystem network consists of more than 60 monitoring stations measuring exchanges of greenhouse gases and energy between ecosystems and atmosphere, and ecosystem variables.
The Ocean network consists more than 30 observation platforms measuring carbon exchange between sea surface and atmosphere, and water characteristics.
Contact the station Principal Investigator (PI) for research possibilities and data use.
ICOS data and data products can also be freely downloaded at the Carbon Portal.
